Chicago Severe Threat

There is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today for parts of the Great Lakes region, including Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, Toledo, OH, and Fort Wayne, IN.

Large hail and tornadoes will be possible with storms that move into this area later today, but damaging wind gusts are the primary threat. Some wind gusts could top 75 mph. The wind threat outlook is seen below.

The threat for severe weather continues for the Upper Midwest into the middle of the week.
